Running the code below does seem to upload the blob, however it is always in plain text format. Then use the edit_document function to add the blob url to the document ('thread' in quip terminology). From what I have read online, you first use the put_blob function to upload the blob- this returns the id and url of the blob. Ask your support representative if you would like this functionality enabled. You must also have the admin API enabled for your quip instance. It provides a client to pull data from the Quip API as well as classes to interact with folders, spreadsheets, pages, and rows. To call this API, the access token you use must be for a user who is an admin. An opinionated client to search, retrieve, and parse Quip spreadsheets using the Quip Automation API. I have tried uploading both audio and images to no avil. This API requires that you have first followed the setup instructions for the Quip Automation API. I can't seem to get this to work properly.
